Breast – Misc. refers to a broad category of breast-related conditions that do not fall under a single specific diagnosis but may include various benign or inflammatory changes affecting breast tissue. These can involve breast pain (mastalgia), cysts, fibrocystic changes, benign lumps, infections such as mastitis, nipple discharge, or hormonal-related swelling and tenderness. Symptoms may vary from mild discomfort and localized tenderness to noticeable lumps or skin changes, depending on the underlying cause. While many breast conditions are noncancerous and related to hormonal fluctuations, trauma, or infection, persistent or unusual changes should be medically evaluated to rule out more serious concerns. Regular self-awareness, routine clinical exams, and appropriate imaging when indicated are important for maintaining breast health.
