Itch, or pruritus, is an uncomfortable sensation on the skin that triggers the urge to scratch. It can result from localized causes such as dry skin, insect bites, allergic reactions, rashes, eczema, or fungal infections, or from systemic conditions including liver disease, kidney disorders, thyroid imbalance, or certain medications. Itching may occur with or without visible skin changes and can range from mild and temporary to persistent and severe. Chronic itching can disrupt sleep, cause skin damage from repeated scratching, and significantly affect quality of life. Because pruritus may sometimes signal an underlying medical condition, persistent or unexplained itching warrants medical evaluation.
MMS use triggered temporary rash and itching in candida-affected skin areas
…I had red rash and itch on my thigh and abdominal area. A awhile back I had the same rash and itch on the same areas. I had skin candida (yeast) infection on those areas.
MMS brought the rash and itch back for a few days. I think what happened is this: I had candida at those areas but dormant. MMS killed candida and toxins released caused the itch and rash. It only lasted for about 3 days then it was totally gone…
MMS use reduces cold sores and facial tingling in HSV-related symptoms
I’m taking MMS for HSV1, HSV2 and what I think is HSV in my head and face (in my skin). I’ve had HSV2 for 18+ years. I was taking Oregano oil before starting MMS so I wasn’t having ob’s for that, and continue to have no ob’s now that I’m on MMS.
HSV1 just started a few months ago (in 11/2007). MMS has helped a lot in getting that under control. I do not feel the “jolt” in the nerves around my mouth, and have not had any ob’s or cold sores while on the MMS.
FYI, I started MMS in early 3/2008, took it for about 1.5 weeks, then stopped for about 1.5 weeks. When I stopped taking it I got a bad ob on my mouth, at the lip line. It scabbed over quickly but took almost a week for the scab to heal up and go away. But since I see many people talk about having cold sore ob’s for weeks at a time, I thought this was pretty good.
As for whatever is going on in the skin on my head and face, MMS has helped that a lot. I still feel a little tingling in the very top of my head, but I’m up to around 12 drops at least 2x a day. Up until 2 days ago, I would feel warm tingling in my head and face when I laid down to sleep at night and would feel it as soon as I woke up in the morning (when I was laying down, not moving around). For the past 2 nights, while I still feel *a little bit* of the tingling, it’s greatly reduced from a few days ago.
This seems to be working for me.
Experienced Herxheimer symptoms like itchiness and runny bowels
Just the normal Herxheimer reactions, some itchyness, runny bowels, sneezing, productive cough.
Black salve use leads to eye and facial skin changes over time
I used black salve to rid myself of skin cancer, on both cheeks. Each time I cleared up a lesion, a new lesion formed and so I pursued the cancer, one step at a time, and it led to my eyes. I could see some of it in the whites, at one point. At the time when I saw it there, I always felt as though there were gravel bits in my eyes. I put the black salve on the skin, at the socket ridge, on each side, once each. That got the spots out of the whites. At the time, I knew nothing of MMS. Once, I used an internal Indian Salve (I forget the exact name of the product. It called regular black salve “mud” and described theirs as superior.) This stuff cleared away a pressure that I had felt, wrapped around one eyeball. A few weeks back, I made the three drop strength mixture (with the tubes and nipple and such, as in Jim’s video). I put one dose in half a glass of distilled water and began using it as eye drops. Then, I began to use the full strength liquid on my skin, all around the eyes, from eyebrow down the cheek. In fact I spread it over my entire face. It has been about two weeks and the areas around the eyes have changed a great deal. There are crusts on the skin of the right eye. The left is not seeing as much action, but it is changing also. In the corner of the right eye, I can now see a red flesh that I believe to be a tumor. It is at the edge of the eye, not in the white. Also, for several months, three brown spots had appeared beneath the right eye. I believe them to be melanomas. The solution has them slowly becoming smaller and sickly looking. I feel I am on the right track. If anybody has a suggestion how to make it better, I am ready to listen. Thank you. – I have only written about the eyes. I take it internally, also.

The brown crusts have fallen away and my eyes look much better…
{3/3/12}
Where the brown crusts had formed and then fell away, new crusts are forming. Not as many as before. Much of the skin is red and reacting still to the treatment. The three bumps I described as probable melanomas look different than any other place around my eyes. They are in a tight cluster. On either side, the skin looks smooth and light pink in color, for perhaps a quarter inch. Above and below, it looks the same for perhaps one eighth of an inch.

Not many days ago, much of the skin around my eyes was very tender, to the point that I had to very lightly pass the wet cloth over the area in washing and only pat dry. There are still areas that feel a bit itchy and are red, but now I can wash my eyes normally without discomfort. The whole area is greatly improved and even looks pretty good. I will continue the treatment, not sure how much longer, but I do not wish to quit too soon.

I am pretty sure that the treatment is not getting deeply enough into the skin. Today, I started putting DMSO on the affected areas before administering the treatment. It is too soon to mention results.
