Runny nose (also called rhinorrhea) is excessive discharge of clear, watery, thin mucus from the nasal passages, often dripping out the front of the nose or down the back of the throat (postnasal drip). It results from increased mucus production by the nasal mucosa, typically triggered by viral upper respiratory infections (common cold), allergies (allergic rhinitis from pollen, dust, pet dander, or mold), irritants (smoke, strong odors, pollution, dry air, or temperature changes), sinusitis, non-allergic rhinitis (e.g., vasomotor rhinitis from weather shifts or spicy foods), or less commonly nasal polyps, foreign bodies (especially in children), cerebrospinal fluid leak (clear, one-sided, salty-tasting discharge after head injury), or certain medications. The discharge is usually clear and watery in viral/allergic cases but can become thicker, yellow/green, or purulent if a secondary bacterial infection develops; accompanying symptoms often include nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy nose/eyes/throat, watery eyes, sore throat from drip, or cough. It is very common, especially during cold/flu season or allergy peaks, and tends to be self-limiting in viral cases but persistent in chronic allergic or irritant-related forms.
Fifteen Years of Allergy Symptoms Gone
Mrs. Sheela Vincent, age 51 years.
She had been suffering from allergies for the past 15 years, with symptoms including a runny nose, red eyes, watery eyes, and frequent sneezing. Over time she had become dependent on medications.
She started using MMS in 2011 and used it each time she had an attack. She reports that she is now free of all symptoms.
For the past three years she has used only MMS to treat members of her family.
I catch flu easily
I catch flu easily. This makes me familiar with the onset of symtoms: light-headedness, muscle pain, weakness.
Since september 2009 I have been using 6 drops of MMS + citric acid at the onset of symtoms. This was 100% effective in preventing flu. Total number of preventions was 6 (estimated) in 4 years. No sick leave was taken during that time.
Last flu infection was in july 2013. In this case I was at work and could only do the prevention routine after 8 hours. I used 3 prevention doses about 6 hours apart. Flu did not go away. However, I did not get the symptoms of coughing and sneezing and a stuffed nose which may mean that secondary infections were prevented. I decided to observe myself for a while without further MMS support. Felt very tired and sleepy for 2 days, not getting better. On the 3rd day started MMS again in the morning: 3 drops + citric acid every 1 to 2 hours. Somewhat irregularly because of tiredness. I was getting better all the time and after 10 hours flu was gone. Remarkable.
Most (maybe all) of my colleagues got flu – possibly the same virus – and reported being very ill for 3 or more weeks.
Conclusion:
– To prevent disease use 6 drops MMS once.
– To cure established disease use 3 drops MMS every hour.
– The very ill will benefit from the support of a care giver to ensure that MMS is used in the right dose at the right time.
MMS1 reduced sneezing and controlled flu symptoms in Australia
i deliberately exposed myself to current influenza outbreaks here in australia. in both instances i started to sneeze within hours, i resorted to my current maintaince dose of three activated drops, which i took morning and night.
one possible infection did not survive the night, and the second possible infection had me sneezing eight times the next day, but the nightly dose obviously knocked it on the head that night. so all remained controlled. no other symptoms were experienced, other than a slight runny nose as a result of the sneezing, which is normal.
the above flue infections are pretty bad, as the people involved were off work and bedridden for several days and affected badly for over two weeks.
nice to know that mms1 is still protecting me after four and half years of use. NO medication of any sort has passed my lips during those years…. kev
