Body odor is influenced by many factor and can influence other people in different ways.
Not only sweat glands but also sebaceous glands and apocrine sweat glands produce substances contributing to body odor. Sebaceous and apocrine become active at puberty. This as well as many apocrine glands being close to the sex organs points to a role related to mating. In humans the armpit regions seem more important than the genital region for body odor which may be related to human bipedalism. The genital and armpit regions also contain springy hairs which help diffuse body odors.
Factors such as food, drink, and diseases can affect body odor. An individual’s body odor is also influenced by lifestyle, gender, genetics, and medication.
Body odor is influenced by the actions of the skin flora, including members of Corynebacterium, which manufacture enzymes called lipases that break down the lipids in sweat to create smaller molecules like butyric acid. These smaller molecules smell, and give body odor its characteristic aroma. Propionic acid (propanoic acid) is present in many sweat samples. This acid is a breakdown product of some amino acids by propionibacteria, which thrive in the ducts of adolescent and adult sebaceous glands. Because propionic acid is chemically similar to acetic acid with similar characteristics including odor, body odors may be identified as having a vinegar-like smell by certain people.[citation needed] Isovaleric acid (3-methyl butanoic acid) is the other source of body odor as a result of actions of the bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis, which is also present in several strong cheese types.
MMS enema treatment eliminated bromhidrosis in one session
Hi everyone
Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum (there are quite a few!) but I joined merely to tell everyone my MMS story.
Before posting though I did have a little read and was surprised to see some scam postings aimed towards MMS! That caught me off guard a little!
Anyway I bought my MMS quite a long while ago after reading about it in an Australian magazine called Nexus. Like a lot of people I could never get past 7 drops without feeling violently ill and no amount of “drop the dosage amount and then try again!” advice was going to get me back onto it!
However, for many years I have had a problem with Bromhidrosis (only found out that name three days ago!) and because I wanted to give MMS a fair chance, over the last few weeks I have been working myself up to taking it as an enema! This was probably because I read on the mmsanswers site about how he thought that this method was an excellent way to get it deep into the body, and for some reason I just knew that if I took it in this way it would benefit me. As I had some alleviation of the symptoms when I had been taking the drops.
On Monday I started with just two drops and I have no other way to put it, but….AFTER THAT FIRST TREATMENT I AM CURED!
Through most of my adult life after a bath or shower I have always had a persistent lingering odour, fortunately I found that by using the solid crystalised rock salt deodorant it would completely cover the smell so I was never socially crippled as a lot of sufferers seem to have been, and now after only one treatment of MMS it has just GONE!
Some of the claims I have read about MMS in all honesty I would have to see that data for myself before speaking freely on it. BUT on this matter I can corroborate that MMS has really worked for me.
If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Mint tea masks MMS odor when mixed
Hello, Jim! I am very sensitive to smell of MMS and finally I have found a way to avoid bad smell of it. I simply use mint. I prepare a very stron mint tea, wait untill it cold down, and then simply add already activated MMS in. With a strong smell of mint it is not possible detect MMS! Simple and very effective! š I think it will be helpful for many MMS users! Best regards, Julia Majo.
