MMS detox causes tooth sensitivity due to low body pH; calcium supplementat
…I’ve done quite a few detox routines over the past few years and have found MMS to be one of the most intense and fast regimens. That also means that detox symptoms tend to be more extreme with MMS, so it’s pretty rough to tolerate. If I were very sick but not terminal and had the time, I would start with a liquid raw veggie/fruit diet for a month before doing MMS.
Sensitive teeth, when it is general and not a specific tooth, is due to a low (acid) pH in the body – it can be brought on by eating too much candy (the traditional wisdom) but also any high carb/fat/protein diet, or during a big burn off of toxins. I also get the sore teeth symptom during detox, often in conjunction with acid stomach/acid reflux, twitching or cramping muscles, nervous/jittery feeling, etc. In every case so far, if I take about 2000 mg ea. of D3 and Calcium/Mag/Zinc, the symptoms get alleviated in a short time. If it helps some but not enough, I re-dose in about an hour. If the tooth sensitivity is real bad, then flush the mouth out with 1/2 to 1 t. baking soda in a glass of water, or if the stomach is bad too, drink it. You’ll give a big burp as you get the “vinegar and baking soda” volcano effect in a few minutes, but then all will be well!
If you have ever kept a fish tank, swimming pool or hot tub, you know the importance of keeping the water buffered with calcium compounds, to keep the pH from going on a wild roller coaster. Same thing happens as we detox and the body starts dumping acidic waste into our bloodstream, it’s going to burn up all the nutritionally available calcium, but when that runs out, then the body starts going for the muscles and bones. Not good, that is when you experience those nasty symptoms above.
Good general advice while detoxing with any method, and especially with MMS because it’s so rapid: keep your calcium levels up (and Vitamin D3 to help with absorption especially if you live in the north and it’s winter). Will reduce the nasty symptoms somewhat.
