Abdominal Pain is a symptom defined as discomfort or pain perceived anywhere in the abdominal region. Because the abdomen contains multiple organ systems, it can arise from gastrointestinal causes such as the stomach, intestines, gallbladder, or pancreas, as well as from non-gastrointestinal sources including urinary, gynecologic, vascular, or musculoskeletal conditions. Contributing processes may include inflammation, infection, obstruction, ischemia (reduced blood flow), irritation of the abdominal lining, or functional disorders that alter gut sensation. Risk factors depend on the underlying cause and may include diet-related or medication-related irritation, prior gastrointestinal disease, gallstone risk factors, urinary tract predispositions, and reproductive or hormonal factors. Clinically, abdominal pain is therefore best understood as a broad presenting feature rather than a single diagnosis.
Abdominal pain can vary widely in location, intensity, quality, and timing, ranging from cramping to burning, stabbing, or dull aching. It may be intermittent or persistent, and the onset can be sudden or gradual depending on the cause. Common associated symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, fever, and reduced appetite, though not all causes produce the same pattern. Clinicians often look for signs such as abdominal tenderness, guarding, or distension, and for changes in vital signs or laboratory results when available. The relationship of pain to meals, bowel movements, or movement, as well as whether pain radiates to the back or shoulder, can help characterize how it commonly presents.
Historically, abdominal pain has been recognized since early medical writings, but modern medicine has refined how it is categorized through advances in anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic imaging. The term remains nonspecific and functions as a clinical descriptor that prompts evaluation for particular etiologies. In everyday practice, abdominal pain is frequently encountered in primary care and emergency settings across age groups, reflecting the wide range of possible causes. Over time, terminology has increasingly distinguished pain by anatomic location (such as epigastric or lower abdominal) and by suspected mechanism, including inflammatory, obstructive, ischemic, infectious, or functional categories. Epidemiologically, its prevalence and broad differential make it a common reason for medical assessment, with diagnostic strategies tailored to the suspected source.

Seems to Cure Anything
I bought MMS on a whim. I buy a lot of products that all seem to work pretty well, such as, clays, parasite cleanses, etc. But MMS seems to cure anything. I had this sitting on my shelf when a terrible abcess/tooth pain occured. I tried many things. Cloves, tea packets, iodine, pain killers – but I couldn’t shake it. I was completely couch ridden and in horrible pain. My husband said that I needed a root canal because the infection was obviously deep. I told him I’d rather get my tooth pulled and I have to say that I love my teeth. I really take great care of them.
Anyway, I remembered reading a testimonial from someone who had taken MMS for an abcess. I quickly looked up the protocol and did several drops with DMSO on a toothbrush. The pain started to subside almost immediately. I did another dose at night and just one more the next morning. Pain gone. I have gone to the dentist several times since and begrudgingly had him do an xray to look for infection and it’s was all clear.
The week of the tooth ache after the pain subsided I decided to take a little internally as well as a precaution. Only 3 drops 3 times a day. A pain that I had been experiencing in my kidney increased then stopped completely after several days. I have since taken MMS periodically when I have a cold or strange pain. I don’t take it on going as directed but keep it very handy.
I did experience a relapse about a year later so realized that maybe I had needed to stay on the internal usage longer. So I went for two weeks and so far so good. There must have been lingering bacteria deep in the tissues. So my only suggestion would be to continue usage for several days or weeks after your cure or pain subsides to insure that the problem is completely healed.
Recently as I was reading Andreas Moritz book Timeless Secrets of Health and Rejuvenation, I was so pleasantly surprised to see that he had recommended it and actually sold it for some time. Between him and Andreas Kalcker, it’s hard not to believe in this solution. The science behind it seems so reasonable. I watched Kerri Rivera’s Autism One video and she goes into the chemistry behind MMS. It seems very plausible and I am one to trust how I feel. It makes me feel well. The same reason I take anything because I base the results and usage on how I feel.
Oxidation does worry me a little and I take MMS in the day and antioxidants in the evening when I do take it. I have a love of Curcumin, green tea, COQ10, iodine, Vitamin D, fish oils and magnesium. I usually use Life Extension products because I trust their research. I hope this helps someone. I have never given this to my children but I wouldn’t hesitate to do so. I can get them to take Collodial Silver so we stick with that for their minor colds.
I am awed by the amazing people who have given their lives to find natural and alternative cures.
IBS - I Can't Recommend MMS Enough
I can’t recommend MMS enough.
After a terrible infection, I basically spent 5 years of my life eating nothing but rice, a few fruits and meat. I could not eat most vegetables, gluten and lactose. I was constipated almost all the time, had terrible pains and cramps, and suffered all sorts of digestive disfunctions.
But then, an excelent homeopathic doctor recommended MMS. After protocol 1000 and some probiotics, I started eating more and more things, and as of today, I can eat almost anything, I feel as if I am born again.
Don’t believe the bad reputation MMS gets by corrupt people, it truly is a miracle cure in many cases; I’ve recommended MMS to family and friends, and they are all getting great results, from curing skin problems to healing joint and muscle pains.
A big thank you to the people promoting and supporting MMS.
Appendicitis with a 104 degree fever
My seven year old daughter had a 104 degree fever, abdominal pain, could not eat, and could not walk. The pain was on he right side of her navel. We knew the signs of appendicitis, as she has an older brother who had had the same symptoms, and we took him to the hospital, where they removed his appendix
We decided to give her one drop doses of activated MMS, three times a day. She threw up after the first dose, but I could tell that she felt a little better. Her fever gradually started coming down, and by the third day, she was out of bed walking and eating again. Two drop doses, probably would have worked better, but she hates the taste of activated MMS.
I thank God for Jim Humble’s work, and I thank you Jim Humble for doing the right thing to help your fellow man.
Six Year Old with a Fever
My six year old daughter came down with a fever and also lost her appetite, feeling sick at her stomach. After a couple days of resting in bed her abdomen began hurting in the area of her navel. The pain became acute and shifted to her right side. It hurt so bad that she could no longer walk. An older brother of hers had had these same symptoms 12 years before, and we had taken him to the hospital where his appendix was removed.
I decided to try giving her MMS. I mixed up a three drop dose, and gave it to her. Within about five minutes she threw up. But then she felt better and her temperature went down some. So, I began a regimen of administering a two drop dose to her three times a day. She did not throw up following the two drop doses. Over the next couple of days, her temperature returned to normal, her appetite returned, the pain in her abdomen went away, and she began to walk and dance again. We praise God for her healing, for Jim Humble, and for MMS. Thank you for providing this web site.
Different Individuals Experience Varying Reactions to MMS Dosage
Interesting MMS Experiment: One couple, Different Results
A couple I know wanted me to mix up some MMS for them. The same doseage yeilded different results for each of them due to their respective levels of health.
The husband has only occasional bowel movements and abdominal pain so strong he went to the ER a few months ago but they found nothing wrong (of course). His wife is very healthy, trim, energetic, only 29 years old, and an active mother of 4. He has some abdominal bloating, fatigue, headaches, vomiting, all the usual symptoms of a parasitic infection, plus the geographic connection to high incidence of parasitic infections. He is 34 years of age. He also has Amalgams and other dental work to clean up but not the money to do it. He worked in construction for years accumulating toxins that way.
I gave each of them 3 drops MMS mixed with the prescribed amount of lemon drops.
She had no reaction to the MMS (no die-off symptoms) whatsoever. He had die-off symptoms/upset stomach and diarrhea.
Similarly, I started MMS at a 2 drop dosage with nauseating effect back in maybe September, (and the super-nauseating 15 drop dose in October that got out all the worms, candida, flukes in the watery BM’s over a 24 hour period), but after 5 months of multi-faceted cleansing I took a 6 drop dose tonight with no nausea whatsoever. Because my system is more clear, it takes more drops to get the die-off symptoms.
If you get sick on one drop, keep going, persevere, push through it. Be on one drop for 6 months if you have to, then move to 2 and so on. Or if you think something else is healthier for you, then take that, but don’t be afraid to push through the die-off effects. The health that awaits you on the other side of the cleanse is worth it.
The couple is ordering some MMS for themselves now.
Additionally, the Holistic MD office I go to carries MMS in stock. They have researched it and find it beneficial to their patients detoxing from mercury and parasites/pathogens. Thought you might like to know.
