Abscess is a localized collection of pus that forms within tissue due to infection. It typically develops when bacteria enter through a break in the skin, such as a cut, puncture, or injection site, or when infection spreads from an adjacent area. In some cases, abscesses arise from internal sources, including infected glands, dental infections, or complications of inflammatory conditions. Risk factors commonly include skin trauma, poor wound healing, diabetes, immune suppression, and conditions that increase susceptibility to bacterial infection. The process involves an inflammatory immune response that walls off the infected material, creating a confined pocket of pus. Depending on location and depth, an abscess may involve superficial skin layers or deeper tissues and organs. Abscesses commonly present as a tender, swollen area that may be red and warm, reflecting active inflammation. The site often becomes increasingly painful over time, and the mass may feel firm early and later become fluctuant as pus accumulates. Some people experience systemic symptoms such as fever, chills, fatigue, or a general feeling of illness, particularly when the infection is more extensive. If the abscess is near the surface, drainage may occur spontaneously, sometimes accompanied by a foul-smelling discharge. When located internally, symptoms can be less obvious and may include localized pain, pressure, or dysfunction of the affected organ. In dental abscesses, for example, pain may be associated with a specific tooth or gum swelling. The term “abscess” has long been used in medical practice to describe a pus-forming infection that produces a localized cavity. Historically, before modern microbiology, abscesses were recognized by their characteristic swelling, tenderness, and tendency to form a “pocket” of pus. With the development of germ theory and improved understanding of bacterial infections, abscesses became more clearly linked to specific pathogens and routes of entry. Epidemiologically, abscesses occur across age groups and are influenced by factors such as hygiene, access to care, and underlying health conditions that affect immunity. In clinical settings, abscesses are often categorized by location, such as skin and soft tissue, dental, or internal organ abscesses, reflecting differences in presentation and diagnostic approach. Their formation is a common pathological outcome of bacterial infection and represents a classic example of the body’s attempt to contain infection. Decided to try MMS, no occasion in the past to evaluate it
Hi, The first occurrence required a visit to my Doctor, who lanced the boil and removed 25mls of puss. A full round of antibiotics and it disappeared- for a while.( 4 months) When it reappeared, I also had the lymph gland in my leg swell up. I decided to try MMS as I had not really had occasion in the past to evaluate it. 4 days of 3 drops per hr (loads of diahrea) and it disappeared. I have maintained a 4 drops per day since then. The only time it has returned is when I have stopped my maintance dose. I then do the 4 drops per hour until is disappears. I would like to connect with anyone in Auckland, New Zealand who is looking to share and grow the MMS awareness. Cheers Piet
My cats and MMS
I am a veterinary nurse in UK. I have used conventional medicines in my work and on my own animals. They have mostly worked, but are very expensive and some have a high cost to the animals in side-effects, some do not work.
My Dad put me onto MMS a few years back. I have used it on myself, to which it has worked well. Colds and other viral and bacterial conditions were dealt with. However, there is always the thing of ‘mind over matter’ or ‘coincidence’ that I got better.
I then used it on my cats. One in particular is a nervous little soul, always has been. Bullied by the others and struggles with illness when he gets ill. I have 4 cats who are all mainly healthy (I DO NOT vaccinate them ever), but Peter suffers more than the others.
I have tried MMS on him 4-5 times now and each time he got better within 2 days completely. He had a mouth abscess the last time and within 2 days, it was gone. He was bouncing around the garden once more! Absolutely amazing.
Mouth abscess improves temporarily with MMS and citric acid; blisters appea
Hello! I have a mouth full of metal and I am in process of having the amalgam removed and composite put it. I also have about 6 gold crowns… It has been a long process as I have had a root canal get in the way…. and recently, a root snapped off another tooth causing an abscess on my lower right jaw. I have been using a water pic with 10 drops activated MMS in about a cup of water and flushing the gumline in that tooth. I must say that it knocks the abcess back with a few days (it was bad). I also am using protocol 1000 with some diligence (1/1 citric acid) …. It just won’t completey disapear but that may because the root is out of place. I used a strong solution of 10 drops but didn’t read the method correctly.. I added only 1 oz. of water instead of a 1/4 cup… and now I have little blisters all over upper and lower mouth on the inside cheeks next to my teeth mostly… I am going to assume that I overdid it and they will go away. Anyone else have this experience? And, is gold part of the no metal rule?
Mouthwash reduces tartar, plaque, and gum issues
Hello #147405,
I have stayed ahead of disease and have no mouth issues. Since starting the mouthwash a few years ago, my dentist has commented on the reduction in tartar and plaque and that my gums are in good health.
With a dentist we were able to eliminate the infection in an abscessed tooth in about 4 hours.
Many have observed nearly a total reduction of tartar and plaque and some have extended the time between cleanings as a result of this.
Dogs have had build up on the teeth basically fall off. It took a little scraping to clean everything up, but nothing like before.
Deep infections seem to take about a week with the activated solution, and general improvements seem to take about a month of using the normal mouthwash.

Thank God I’ve been blessed with good health in general, but I’ve had a occasion to use this solution to deal with a few different issues to include abscess tooth, food poisoning, various stomach issues… fortunately I’ve had no serious issues thus far to address….
Nasal flushing with MMS and citric acid reduced sinus congestion and absces
03/24/11 – Sinusitis (forehead, nose, sinuses, suppuration)
I’ve tried the following, when I got back a very heavy snuff. I unfortunately had abscesses always problems with the front nose and paranasal sinuses. 3 drops MMS with 3 drops 50% activate citric acid in a glass, 30 sec, fill with lukewarm water, placed in a nose-shower, and thus both nostrils flushed alternately burns, although slightly, and the eye has something been watering, but it gave me helped in this way, immediate improvement to breathe again possible to sniff the other takes at least 1 week for me, after 2 days this time everything perfectly, I have no abscesses, etc. all also made pre-emptively to ensure that the disease almost stifled in the bud! for sore throat has a mixture with 6% citric mms/50 drip into a glass and gargle it for at least 2 times a day, no problem recommending more’m thrilled it any further it is not yet known,

MMS treatment resolves abscessed tooth promptly
…I have been taking MMS for over a year and a half. Maintenance doses for about the last year and have nothing but positive things to say about it. No down side so far.
Just go slow because it is very powerful body cleanser and if you go to fast it can kick out to many toxins all at once. Just resently got an absessed tooth. One application and it was gone. Thought I was going to have to get it pulled. Great stuff. Rken
Abscess in armpit relieved after MMS2 water treatment
12:01:10 Mr. T. – healing with MMS2
Dear friends,
previous week I had a very painful abscess in the armpit.
I’ve done, the handling of a capsule-MMS2.
This I resolved to ca.einem quarter liter of water and a cloth soaked in it for about 5 minutes down on the job.
Only 30 minutes later I noticed a significant pain relief.
I continued the treatment for 2 additional days and the abscess has completely disappeared.
Greetings
Mr. T.
