Period problems refer to irregularities or disturbances in the menstrual cycle, including changes in timing, flow, duration, or associated symptoms. Common issues include heavy bleeding (menorrhagia), painful periods (dysmenorrhea), missed periods (amenorrhea), irregular cycles, spotting between periods, or unusually light flow. These problems can result from hormonal imbalances, stress, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pregnancy-related factors, or certain medications. Symptoms may also include pelvic pain, fatigue, mood changes, or anemia in cases of heavy bleeding. While occasional cycle variations can be normal, persistent or severe menstrual changes warrant medical evaluation to determine the underlying cause.
Painful Periods No More
This is not a topic I would normally write about, but there may be other women out there suffering the way I did for almost 40 years. I have always had crampy, painful periods. When I was in my late twenties, all of a sudden the pain shot through the roof and I went from taking one or two ibuprofen on the first day to needing 1000mg every 2-4 hours for three to four days. If I didn’t do this (yes, I tried to ‘get the message in the pain’ by not taking anything at all. I wound up screaming on my bed and throwing up every 20 minutes for 7 hours straight. Yikes.) Doctors I talked to about it advised me to have a hysterectomy and therapists had me processing my relationship with my mother endlessly. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked to fully relieve the pain except the ibuprofen in mega-doses. I spent three to four days every month sleeping in a fuzzy, drug-induced stupor.
And then I found the MMS protocols. I have been slowly working my way up to protocol 3000 over the last three weeks. This last weekend I got my period. No Pain! I took no ibuprofen at all! Given how bad the situation was prior to the MMS, I can only say that this truly ranks for me as miraculous. My 5 year old had a birthday party this weekend, and not only was I not drugged and sleeping — I was out jumping around in the bouncy castle, playing hostess, and generally having a fun, active day.
The only sadness I feel about this is that I am now 51 years old. With menopause on my doorstep, I am saddened at the intensity of the suffering I endured for so many, many years. Still, I am where I am. I had been praying for some kind of peaceful resolution before my cycles stopped, and that has happened. Now, not only is menopause knocking, so is the promise of true and enduring health. How can I stay sad given that?
I am so deeply grateful to Jim Humble for his wisdom and tenacity in bringing MMS to the public. Given the climate that we are currently living in regarding health care (in the US), his work is nothing short of heroic. The words ‘thank you’ come up too short and too small against the magnitude of the offering of MMS to the world. Still, the words are important to say…
Thank you, Jim Humble, and thank God for MMS
MMS and homeopathic nosodes reduced virus outbreaks and improved symptoms o
MMS on its own made the outbreaks milder and less frequent. Because I am aware of the symptoms I recognise that they’re still ther under the surface but not properly breaking out. It was a combination of MMS, herbs, vitamins and most importantly the homeopathic nosodes that have virtually wiped out the virus (I had some extremely mild symptoms just before my period last month). I’m still continuing with all of the above and take MMS every evening before bed at a 15 drop dose so hope to wipe it out completely. It keeps on getting better and better so I can only hope that by saying this, others can follow the same path and have the same success. It was a lot of trial and error with various health professionals that allowed me to get to this point. It’s nasty and I hope we can all manage to wipe it out! I sincerely wish you the best and hope that you continue to post on this forum so that we can share any success.
By the way, 15 drop doses twice a day were really starting to wipe me out. I have studied chemistry and believe that they reduce the iodine levels in your body which messes up your thyroid function, makes you sluggish and feeling fat so an iodine supplement is also really useful. The herbs need to be prescribed by an expert who can judge which of your body systems need a boost. Olive leaf extract and Astragalus are good for anyone in this situation but there are others that are very individual based on your make up. That’s why one cure doesn’t work for everyone. There was an underlying virus in my system that was reducing my ability to fend off the herpes virus that was picked up by a practitioner who did vega testing and prescribed the right homeopathic nosode for it as well as the herpes virus. Mora therapy can produce similar results but I found that the practitioner was not able to prescribe the right herbs as they didn’t have a background in naturopathy.
MMS causes drowsiness and body pain at lower doses
MMS make me tired!
I have already gone through a total body cleanse. I now take 15 drops of MMS and 75 drops of citric acid a day. It puts me to sleep. But, if I lower the dose, I am in pain throughout my whole body. What is causing me to sleep so much? When I lower the dose or don’t take it at all, why is my body in so much pain?
I hope I don’t make anybody feel uncomfortable with what I am about to share, but MMS has been able to fix a problem that I have had since starting my menstrual cycle. Prior to taking the MMS, I had periods that lasted 15 days, and only a week off to months at a time, and now my period lasts less than a week and occurs the way it should without birth control.

MMS use linked to cessation of periods and breast lumps resolution
…I started taking MMS1 for the first time mid December. I had chronic fatigue and fybromyaliga and was basically housebound. The first thing I noticed was that I had “breakthrough” bleeding. I was mid-cycle and started to bleed. It lasted for 3 to 4 days and then gone.
I noticed an immediate increase in energy and the pain I had suffered for months and months went. In the space of 2 weeks I went from being virtually disabled to being a fully functional human again.
I had reached 15 drops twice a day then went to maintenance dose. I did this for 2 months then in March I kinda got lazy. I am still cured for what I originally took it for but didn’t take MMS for just over 2 weeks. What I noticed is that my periods – which disappeared in December (I missed January and February) returned yesterday.
I emailed Jim Humble and he said the only thing MMS does is kill pathogens so my body would be doing what it should. I am not happy with that explanation. I agree that it has killed the pathogens which I believe were causing my CFS etc, but I have also noticed my breast lumps have gone ( 2 large ones that I had for years and biopsied twice by the hospital) and the cyclical breast lumps have gone also.
Don’t get me wrong – I am thrilled to be free of the debilitating illnesses that I had and the monthly traumas of the breast pains and lumps. I am just curious to find out if MMS does have any effect on the endocrine system apart from removing pathogens.
